Get Involved at St. Cornelius Episcopal Church

At St. Cornelius, being part of the church means more than Sunday worship. It means entering a sacred rhythm of connection, formation, and service. We’re not here to consume church—we’re here to be the church, together.

Four Rhythms of Discipleship

Participation Pathway

At St. Cornelius, we believe spiritual growth happens through community. The Participation Pathway describes how we move from simply visiting to actively co-creating the life of the church. It’s not a checklist or hierarchy—it’s a journey of deepening presence, commitment, and formation.

We recognize that everyone enters at a different pace. Some are searching. Some are healing. Some are ready to go deeper. Wherever you are on your path, you are welcome. And when you’re ready to come closer, we’ll be here.

If you want to understand the story of our church, what it means to be episcopalian and how you can step deeper on your journey, attend a quarterly foundations class.

Sunday Worship at 10:00 am: A Doorway

Worship is where most people begin. It’s a sacred hour of beauty, prayer, Word, and Eucharist. It’s where we encounter God in community and hear the Spirit’s invitation. This is the doorway—the first step into the life of this community.

Tending Sacred Space on Sunday at 9:15 am: A Threshold

Arrive early to step more deeply into the rhythm of our shared life. This hour before worship is where we tend sacred space and connect with one another. It’s where you’ll begin to discover the facets of our community: hospitality, altar, tech, prayer, music, and more. There’s no pressure, only presence. A Sunday Shepherd will welcome you and help you find your rhythm. This is the threshold where belonging begins to take root.

The Haven Collective: The Inner Room

The Haven Collective is our community’s soul-space for deeper healing, discipleship, and
transformation.

Here we offer:
● Spiritual direction and formation
● Embodied practices (like yoga, energy work, and breath prayer)
● Healing circles, justice-rooted theology, and connection across divides

It’s a space for those who feel the Spirit calling them to unearth their truest self, engage in soul healing, and walk more fully in the way of Christ. This is the inner room—where discipleship unfolds, healing deepens, and wisdom is shared.

Baptism

Holy Baptism marks a formal entrance to the congregation and wider Church.

All people of any age are welcome to baptized; we believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sins and an indissoluble bond with God.

The Haven Collective: A Sacred Space for Healing and Wholeness

The Haven Collective is a ministry of St. Cornelius Episcopal Church, created as a sacred space for those seeking a deeper, embodied encounter with God. While St. Cornelius nurtures parish life through worship and community, The Haven Collective extends that life by offering pathways of healing, mysticism, and spiritual formation.

Here, we believe that spiritual growth and discipleship begin in our bodies—the living temples God has given us. Healing, wholeness, and connection with the Divine are not abstract ideas, but practices we live into with breath, movement, and community.
